WINTER OATMEAL
There’s nothing better than a warm bowl of nourishing oatmeal on a cold winter’s morning. This recipe is topped with our delicious plum drizzle and candied coconut chips to make a sensational and healthy breakfast.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup water or milk of your choice
Pinch of salt
Asian Food Republic plum drizzle
Asian Food Republic candied coconut chips
Method:
In a saucepan, bring the water or milk to a boil. Add the rolled oats and salt and stir well to combine.
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you prefer a thicker consistency, cook for a few more minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the oatmeal sit for a minute or two to thicken further.
Pour oatmeal into a bowl and top with a drizzle of plum sauce and a handful of candied coconut chips to garnish. Mix the toppings into the oatmeal and enjoy while still warm.
